I personally prefer the Synchronous Video Chat because you can see the person and talk to them instantly. I feel that this is more personal than an Asynchronous Video Message. However, as a dance instructor, I feel that an Asynchronous Video Message would work more effectively for the class because I could send a video message to all of my students at the same time. I would be able to use this is in my future classroom to update the students of upcoming practices, dance assignments, dance events, performances, new music, costumes, etc.
